On the afternoon of June 26th, 2012 graduation ceremony of Literature and Journalism School (LJS) was held at Siyuan Lecture Hall in Center Campus. tenured Professor Zeng FanRen, director of literary and aesthetic research center, Chen Yan, vice-president of Shandong university, Professor Zheng Chun, Dean of the Literature and Journalism School, Professor Liao Qun, vice president of the Literature and Journalism School, teachers' representatives, Famous alumus Zhou JianMin, the president of Jinri group attended the ceremony. Zhang Guizhen, Secretary of the Party Committee of LJS, presided over the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Zheng Chun expressed his warmest congratulations to all graduates on behalf of the School of Literature and Journalism. He said that after a few days, everyone's name will go down in LJS's history as one of our latest graduates.And from now on, many famous alumni at home and abroad will add and give the new vitality to our school. Since 1930, 10165 students have been trained by Literature and Journalism School. He told the students at this special moment, everybody should appreciate LJS and never forge alma mater and teachers and treasure the good reputation of Shandong University both at home and abroad. We are family forever.

Then professor Yang Duanzhi and alumus Zhou JianMin exchanged views cordially with students. Subsequently, Professor Liao Qun read out the " the decision on awarding the degrees to 2012 graduates," At last, Prof. Zeng FanRen, Prof. Chen Yan and Dean Zheng Chun awarded the diploma to every graduate and took photos with them. 357 LJS's graduates were award degrees in 2012.
