On May 8th, professor Yamashita Teruhiko of Keio University, famous Chinese scholar of Japan, visited the Literature and Journalism School of SDU. Prof. Zheng Chun, the dean of the Literature and Journalism School, met with the guest. Prof. Sheng Yuqi, academic leader of linguistics and applied linguistics, and Prof. Zhang Shuzheng, participated in relevant activities.

On the afternoon of 8th, professor Yamashita Teruhiko gave a lecture: on chinese and Japanese language culture cognition. During the report, Professor Yamashita Teruhiko was warmly received by the students and teachers he has brought his latest research results in this report and described the differences between Chinese and Japanese language. The lecture lasted more than 2 hours. professor Yamashita Teruhiko also conducted interactions with teachers and students. After the report, Professor Yamashita Teruhiko answered the questions raised by students.
