Recently, Zheng Chun, Dean of Literature and Journalism School(LJS) of Shandong University(SDU), Was invited to host Chinese literature doctoral thesis defense at Beijing university. And Professor Zheng met with Professor Chen Yuehong who is the Chinese department director of Peking University.

During the meeting, Zheng sincerely extended his thanks to the Chinese department of Peking University for their long time support. Both sides held talks on how to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the Literature and Journalism School of Shandong University and the Chinese department of Peking University.

In Peking University, Zheng had conversation with professor Sun Yu, Dean of the Literature School, and some Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature scholars such as professor Li Yang, professor Kong Qingdong, professor Jiang Tao etc. The two sides reached lots of consensus and yielded positive outcomes , especially both sides agreed to strengthen the teachers and students exchanges, and formed some academic cooperation plan.
