The"Ancient Chinese Literature" compiled seminar was held at Academic Exchange Hall of the Faculty of Arts of Zhixin building in the central campus on August 2nd. “Ancient Chinese Literature” is the key textbook of Marxism Theory Research and Construction Project.Many famous classical literature experts from other colleges and universities participated in the meeting. Vice-President of SDU Chen Yan extended a warm welcome to experts and scholars and gave thanks for their hard work.Tenured professor Yuan Shishuo and Dean Zheng Chun attended the meeting and discussion.

"Ancient Chinese Literature" compiled seminar was presided over by Yuan Shishuo. Professor Lihao of Northwestern University, Professor Chen Wenxin of Wuhan University, Professor Dong Shangde of Sun Yat-sen University, Professor Ruanzhong of Hainan Normal University, Professor Wang Peiyou of Beijing Language and Culture University, as well as Professor Liao Qun, Professor Wang Xiaoshu, Professor Sun Zhimei and Professor Bian Jiazhen who are from Literature and Journalism School (LJS), participated in the study and discussion.

During the meeting, the scholars made a serious and in-depth discussion about the Compiling Styles and the sample chapter of each volume which has been completed. According to the book compilation, scholars fully express their views on the content, structure, writing brush, expressions, and even the use of punctuation marks.The atmosphere at the meeting was warm, cordial and friendly.
