Recently, Li Ke, Professor of the School of Literature and Journalism(LJS), was invited to attend the 2012 Annual Conference of China Advertising Association Academic Committee (CAAAC) in Jinan University.

This conference was hosted by CAAAC and co-organized by the School of Journalism and Communication of Jinan University and Guangdong Advertisement Co., Ltd (CDAD). Focusing on the theme of “Transitional Development and Brand Innovation”, discussions were expanded around four issues: transitional development and advertising innovation, brand equity, the development of international brands in China and Chinese brands under the new media environment. Many committee members from industry and academic circles made excellent speeches, including Ding Bangqing, the Vice Chairman of CDAD, Gao Jun, the President of Meikao Advertising Company, Huang Heshui, Professor of Xiamen University, and Hu Xiaoyun, the Director of the Brand Research Center of Zhejiang University.

During the conference, Prof. Li Ke discussed extensively with the participating experts and scholars. They reached an important consensus on cooperation and academic visit, with the expectation to inject new vitality into the development of the Brand and Communication Research Institute of LJS.
