In the assessment of disciplines in 2012 by Ministry of Education, the discipline of Chinese Literature of our school ranks at the fifth place in all universities in China, which is quite a high position to be proud of. As president Xu Xianming said: ”Literature is the eye of SDU, on behalf of the highest level of SDU, and the representative subject of SDU. Literature and Journalism School is the five-star school of SDU.”
