Recently, Zheng Chun, the dean of the Literature and Journalism School(LJS), participated in the academic conference held in Beijing. And he specially came to visit our alumnus Wang Wenzhang who is the former Vice-Minister of National Ministry of Culture, President of the Chinese Academy of Arts, and also the Department of Chinese 73th alumnus. Wang was very concerned about the school's development and progress and asked Zheng to convey his most sincere wishes to the school.

During the interview, Zheng introduced the conditions about teaching, scientific research and discipline construction etc, and reported the recent development of LJS(Literature and Journalism School).Wang Wenzhang carefully listened to the introduction, expressed his sincere delight on alma mater’s rapid development in recent years, especially the achievements in the introduction of distinguished academics and discipline construction, and put forward his comments and suggestions for the future development of LJS.

After that Wang Wenzhang fondly looked back upon the old days spent in SDU and said “Youth time we spent together, we are family forever” was the heartfelt wishes of all alumni. Finally, he asked Zheng to convey his wishes to the teachers and students , and particularly expressed that he would devote himself to the development of Shandong and SDU.
