On January 11,"Global Times Scholarship" award ceremony was held at 620 academic lecture hall in Zhixin building block A. Wu Jie, vice chief editor of Global Times, Fang HongJian, vice secretary of party committee of Shandong university, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

Fang Hongjian welcomed Mr Wu Jie on behalf of the school, sincerely thanked for the supporting to our school, praised the Global Times’ noble character of taking Social responsibility, and expressed warm congratulations to the winning students.

In his speech, Mr Wu Jie on behalf of the newspaper expressed sincerely thanks to to SDU’S leadership and the teachers who took hard efforts in the process of scholarship evaluation. Hoped the teachers and students can continue to pay attention to the Global Times, and welcomed students to Global Times practice and work. This time, total 25 outstanding students of our school won the "Global Times Scholarship" .
